Born from the love of the sunshine (yindi) and the ocean (salt) our pieces are designed in Australia and ethically manufactured in Bali, the Island of the Gods.
I've always felt that life is better in a bikini. I love days spent soaking up the sunshine and the connection I feel with nature being near the ocean. Getting that fresh beach hit of sun and salt is a definite priority in my life, however with the increasing damage being done to our oceans I couldn't help but feel the guilt of bikini shopping, knowing they are produced from an unsustainable material. The solution: Yindi & Salt swimwear is produced using an eco friendly nylon. A fabric made from recycled ocean plastics such as water bottles and fishing lines. These products are then woven into a breathable lycra, which is chlorine and sunscreen resistant.
As part of our sustainable approach, we operate as a 'slow fashion' brand’. This means, to avoid unnecessary wastage we carry out small runs rather than mass production.
