Ingredient Benefits

Natural Vitamin E: A powerful antioxidant that helps to support immunity, cell function and skin health.

Chamomile Extract: Derived from chamomile flowers by steam distillation, this extract is anti-inflammatory, antibacterial, soothing and calming.

Cucumber Extract: A superfood for the skin filled with goodness including Vitamins A, C and K, potassium and magnesium, this extract revitalises, soothes and cleanses the skin.

Quandong: An antioxidant-rich in Vitamin C and Vitamin E this Australian Botanical hydrates and protects the skin. Powerful anti-inflammatory properties enhance the strengthen the surface of the skin.

Lavender Essential Oil (Australian): Suitable for all skin types, lavender is one of the most valuable essential oils. Among its many benefits, lavender stimulates cell renewal, is an antiseptic, helps to prevent scarring, is calming, cooling and can improve sleep.

Massage onto skin daily after showering. You don’t need to be an expert to check your breasts. Place the lotion on your hands and rub together. Using the pads of your fingers, feel all parts of your breasts from the collarbone to below the bra line and in your armpit. Unusual changes to look out for include a new lump, thickening or dimpling in the breast, changes to the shape or size of the breast or nipple, and painful or inflamed tissue. There’s no right or wrong way to check your breasts for any changes. Try to get used to looking at and feeling your breasts. Make this a part of your routine.

Behind the Brand

My Breast Friend

My Breast Friend is a brand tenderly created through my personal experience of breast cancer in 2019. At the age of 46, I discovered a large lump in my right breast during my morning bathroom routine. It was a huge shock, a moment in time that rocked me to the core. It’s been both a traumatic and transformational journey physically, emotionally and spiritually.

As I began to make sense of my own story and diagnosis, what became clear was how disconnected I had become from listening to and checking in with my body. I didn’t have a regular breast self-check practice and neither did many women I chatted with.

It was here that the idea for My Breast Friend was born. Two years later, I’m proudly launching my first range of luxurious handmade body lotions and body washes, my personal heartsong to all women and their relationship with their bodies.
