Aggie Gifts - An all women team fighting poverty and inequalities in today’s food supply chain.

Aggie aims to share the stories of the 570 million smallholder farmers around the world by connecting them to new markets. Just under 80% of the world’s food is grown by these smallholder farmers living in poverty, and so, Aggie aims to connect these producers to profitable markets.

In Australia, Aggie Gifts work closely with small Aussie businesses and Indigenous suppliers, to help their businesses grow and flourish.

Currently, only 1% of commercially available bushfoods are being supplied by Indigenous Australians! This is why we wish to empower these suppliers, to bring their voice back into their industry.

For every $1 spent at Aggie Gifts, up to 70c goes back to our all Aussie suppliers.

Packaging:
Aggie Gifts use 100% recyclable or compostable packaging.
From our packing tape to 'bubble wrap', what you receive in your gift box is at home recyclable or compostable.
The products themselves mayn't be packaged in environmentally friendly packaging, but we try to partner with suppliers who minimise plastic use as much as possible.

Shipping within Australia:
If Aggie Gifts have all items in stock when you place your order, they can post them off within 2-3 business days. If products are not in stock, allow 2 weeks for items to arrive from suppliers. Once sent, parcels usually arrive within 5 business days.

This means, if you order products from more than one brand you can expect a parcel to arrive from each brand, in the shipping timeframe detailed on each individual product.

Shipping to New Zealand:

Behind the Brand

Aggie Gifts

Lisa and Zoe, or the Paisley Twins, cofounded Aggie Global in 2018 after moving to Fiji to work in agricultural development. The social business was established to economically empower smallholder farmers to address poverty and food insecurity. Their e-commerce platform connects buyers to local farmers growing fresh fruit and vegetables.

In 2020, Aggie Global started in Australia and became Aggie Gifts to empower Indigenous suppliers within the bushfood (First Nation’s Food) industry. Currently, only 1% of bushfoods are supplied by Indigenous Australians. This inequality is what Lisa and Zoe are addressing through their unique, ethically sourced gift boxes that showcase traditional Aussie foods.

Aggie's mission is to reconnect humanity through the gift of food.
