Prior to engaging with their manufacturer, Pop & Weasel put together a thorough checklist of what we expected from them, ensuring that workers would be treated fairly, and that their working conditions were fair.
Pop and Weasel’s manufacturer and their factories are audited and certified by a number of different industry organisations, including Business Social Compliance Initiative. BSCI Certification ensures that important international labour standards are being met, along with protecting the rights of workers.
Not only are our shoes at Pop & Weasel made from high quality, eco-friendly materials - they're also 100% vegan. Our manufacturer has PeTA certification meaning that our shoes have no animal products or bi-products of animals in them. It also ensures that no animals were used in the manufacturing or testing of them.
Donations:
Pop and Weasel are honoured to be able give back to people who need it the most and gift a minimum of 30 pairs of shoes to Berry Street each year.
Berry Street has provided services to children, young people and families for over 140 years and is one of Australia’s largest independent family service organisations.
Berry Street believe that children, young people and families should be safe, thriving, and hopeful. They provide a range of programs to around 35,000 people in Victoria each year.
Packaging:
All Pop & Weasel shoes are sent in mailing bags that are made in Australia and are recyclable. Our shoes are in soft cardboard boxes (typical shoebox) and made with recycled cardboard.
Caring For Your Pop & Weasel Sneakers
It was so important to Pop & Weasel to use recycled materials, to be as sustainable as possible, to be 100% vegan and to ensure our shoes were as soft and flexible as possible.
Pop & Weasel are proud to use recycled textiles on the uppers of our sneakers but textiles do have different characteristics from leather and can unfortunately stain. To avoid this, we recommend using a Waterproofer on Pop & Weasel sneakers as this will help to repel any spillages.
Pop & Weasel shoes are made for little feet to go on big comfortable adventures so know it’s normal for them to come back dirty, a little roughed up around the edges and looking like they have been explored in! Our toes were not designed to be dragged along rough surfaces and will mark or peel off if done so. Dragging our toes on something like a balance bike is definitely not recommended!
Pop & Weasel sneakers can be popped in the washing machine however we do not suggest doing this too often (see instructions below).
1. Rinse any dirt off the sole of the shoe and make sure the velcro straps are all sealed and done up.
2. Soak in Napi San (or something similar) for as long as YOU think is needed. If the stains have been there a long time it may need longer. If the marks are relatively fresh, a lesser time may be enough. No hot water! Just keep it cool to warm.
3. If there are some tough stains or marks we’d suggest spraying on some strain remover once finished soaking.
4. Pop into a laundry bag. Wash in the machine on a cool to warm wash.
5. Leave in the fresh air to dry.

This product is typically delivered within 3-10 business days within Australia. For rural addresses, please allow an extra 1-3 days for delivery.
Shipping to New Zealand:
This product ships from Australia. You can generally expect delivery of your item to take between 3-14 business days.

Returns:
This product is returnable within 14 days of receiving it. To be eligible for return it must be unworn, undamaged and unmarked. Shoes must be in their original condition and in the original packaging and shoe box.. If you are not happy with your purchase, please email hello@prizedlife.com to discuss a return if required.
